He is survived by his wife Elpidia Otero Rosas, a son Marion Salas, daughters; Emily Garcia, and Mara Rosas Padilla, siblings; Ilano Ocampo Alarcon, Noe Ocampo Lagunas, Maria de los Angeles Ocampo, and Maria de Jesus Ocampo. He was preceded in death by his parents; Veja Alarcon Lagunas and Mateo Ocampo.
Visitation will be on Sunday, May 5, 2024 from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm here at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, May 6, 2024 at 6:00 pm at Immaculate Conception Church, 508 Grand Ave., Waukegan, IL. He will be laid to rest in Mexico.

Please accept my heart felt condolences. Joaquin was a wonderful person to work with. He stared each morning with a handshake & a kind word. We will all miss him terribly. Please let your memories of him get you all through this extremely difficult time.
