It is with heavy hearts the passing of Joaquin Martinez Jr. he was born on July 21st, 1944, in Bay City Texas. He went peacefully on June 2nd, 2025, surrounded by family. He is survived by his loving wife, Elena, children, Rosario and Joaquin (Andrea); grandchildren, Nicole (Mike), Anthony (Katelyn) Sierra, Amanda (James), Madison, Christian, Nicolas, Samantha, Mariah, Bridget, Pheonix, Indigo; 15 great grandchildren, along with his brothers and sisters.
He is proceeded in death by his mother Maria, his siblings, and son, Armando who has long awaited their reunion.
He will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and always cherished.
Friends and loved ones are invited to gather in remembrance, and to honor a life marked by quiet strength, steady love, and deep devotion. If you would like to donate flowers of condolence send them to Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Rockport, Texas.
A Visitation will be held June 6, 2025 from 11:00am until 8:00 pm andt he Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm at Charlie Marshall Funeral Homes in Rockport, Texas. A mass will be celebrated Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 10:00 am at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rockport, Texas.
