Jody Dowling Obituary
Jody Lee Dowling, born on April 21, 1970, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2025. A resident of Indianapolis for most of her life, Jody also cherished her time spent in Lafayette, Indiana, where she created lasting memories with her beloved spouse, Sean Dowling, and their son, Cody Dowling.
Jody dedicated her life to caring for her family, finding joy in cooking and celebrating holidays surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She is lovingly remembered by her four children: Ricky Robinson, Helen Robinson, Christopher Robinson, and Cody Dowling. Jody is also survived by her four grandchildren, Shianne Serenity, Patience, Justin, and Cameryn Jay; and brothers, Craig Howell and Michael Howell.
Jody was preceded in death by her parents, Brenda Lee and James Howell, and her former spouses, Richard Robinson and Sean Dowling.
A memorial service will be held at Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood Chapel, located at 2433 East Main Street, Greenwood, Indiana on Friday, September 5, 2025. Visitation will take place from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, followed by the funeral service.
Jody will be profoundly missed by her family and friends. Her spirit and the love she shared will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
