Jody Michele Driskill Goodson

Jody Michele Driskill Goodson was born on May 17, 1977, at Duncan Regional Hospital in Duncan, Oklahoma, and left this earthly world on October 30, 2025, at her home in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 48.
She was the beloved daughter of Mickey and Debby Driskill of Moore, Oklahoma, and Bullet and Kathy Davis of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Jody was a loving sister to Cara Kolker of Moore, Oklahoma; Laci Driskill of Montebello, Alabama; Nick Wells of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and Tina King of Shrewsbury, Massachusetts.
She was the devoted mother of three beautiful children: Stephanie Driskill of Bridge Creek, Oklahoma; Blake Hodges and his wife Katelyn of Moore, Oklahoma; and Charles Wayne "Trey Trey" Smith III of the home. She was also the proud "Granny" to three precious grandchildren-Aralynn Joy Husband, Taytum Remi-Rose Driskill, and Tripp Waylon Hodges-and was joyfully awaiting the arrival of her fourth grandchild, Lainey May Hodges.
Jody attended school in Newcastle, Oklahoma, and throughout her life worked in many roles before finding her calling in the food industry. She excelled both as a server and in management at several popular restaurants, where her kindness, humor, and hard work made her unforgettable.
A creative soul, Jody had a passion for making things-whether it was Christmas decorations from coat hangers, Halloween creations, wall art, or inspirational sayings. In the kitchen, she shined just as brightly, especially when making her famous stew, goulash, tacos, and gooey desserts.
Jody loved deeply and freely. She cared for all her nieces and nephews, stepchildren, cousins, and even the "strays" who simply needed a kind word and a loving smile. You never quite knew when a firecracker moment would appear, or when she would share one of life's secrets-but that was the magic of Jody.
She loved her TikToks, sharing her famous comments, and was a proud, passionate Swiftie fan.
