Joe Don Gideon, of Waco Texas passed away unexpectedly on August 15,2024 at the age of 69. He was born and raised in Robinson, Texas and was currently employed at Alamo Steel when he passed. Joe Don was always the life of the party and never met a stranger. He was a cowboy with a big heart whose smile and laugh would light up any room he entered. He gave the best and most heartfelt hugs, and, in his presence, you knew you were loved. He was a proud grandpa and loved being called “Papa Joe”. He was loved by all of his family and friends; he will be truly missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents J.D and Ruth Gideon, his brother Ernest”Booger” Mahan.
He survived by his daughter Charlsy Davis, and her husband Seth Davis, and granddaughter Hadley Grace Davis, his son Donnie Joe Gideon, his brother Gary Gideon and wife Shirley Gideon, his sister Sandra Hardin and husband Ben Hardin; Judy McGee and family; Bubbie Gideon and family; along with countless friends and extended family.
