Joseph Edward Kleinmeyer, 58, died February 18, 2026, in Casey, Iowa. He was born March 29, 1967, to Robert Theodore and Ardeth (Stanley) Kleinmeyer in New Hampton, Iowa. He attended Sigourney High School and later received his GED. In 1989 he married Tina Paul and they later divorced. Joe worked in the automotive industry for over 40 years, working at Wagler Motors in Sigourney and later Firestone. In 2014 he moved to Casey, Iowa. Joe loved gardening, plants, motorcycles and going on motorcycle trips with his Uncle Charley Stanley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Robert Kleinmeyer and stepfather John Floden.
He is survived by his children Brandon (Brittany) Kleinmeyer of Kansas City, Joseph (Katy) Kleinmeyer of St. George, Utah, Matthew Kleinmeyer of Des Moines his grandchildren Fiona, Chesney, Piper, Quinn, River, Spencer, sister Beth (Mike) Bridges of Oskaloosa, sister-in-law Elaina Kleinmeyer of Kansas City, Missouri and his significant other Diane Scholl and her family and many nieces and nephews and extended family.
Visitation Thursday February 26, 2026 11:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Holm Funeral Home with Graveside service to follow at South English Cemetery
