He is preceded in death by his parents Joe Ramirez, Sr. and Diamantina Cortez Ramirez. Survivors include his beloved wife Bertha Ramirez, and his loving son Joseph, siblings: Diana Pontti (Mike), Herlinda Bryant (Paul), Rebecca Salazar (Lupe), Esperanza Barela (Ron), Philip Ramirez (Terry), and Elizabeth Garza (Simon), numerous nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
Visitation will begin on Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. with a rosary to begin at 6:30 p.m. at Brookehill Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 17, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph South San Catholic Church with a procession from the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Mission Burial Park South.
