Joe Bailey Wright, age 82 of Russellville, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at his home. He was born in Russellville, Kentucky on May 16, 1943 to the late Claude Blackburn Wright and Leola Nold Willis Wright. He was a farmer and a long-time member of Stevenson's Chapel United Methodist Church. He is survived by:

1 Son ~ Barry Wright and wife Carol Ann ~ Lewisburg, KY

1 Daughter ~ Barbara Benton and husband Steve ~ Russellville, KY

1 Brother ~ Warren David Wright and wife Peggy ~ Lewisburg, KY

3 Grandchildren ~ Beth Thurston and husband, Fischer ~ Russellville, KY

Adam Wright and wife Sarah ~ Lewisburg, KY

Hannah Benton ~ Russellville, KY

3 Great Grandchildren ~ Anna Thurston, Ella Thurston and Tatum Thurston

Funeral services for Joe Bailey Wright will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Stevenson's Chapel United Methodist Church with Pastor Jim Mathews and Bro. Johnny Fuller officiating with burial to follow in Stevenson's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, September 26, 2025 at Summers and Son Funeral Home from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Saturday at Stevenson's Chapel UMC from 11:00 am until the service hour of 2:00 pm.
