Joellen Dawn Bierbower

Joellen Dawn Bierbower, 64, of Enola, PA, passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at her home in Enola, PA.
Born on February 20, 1960, in Harrisburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Marlin "Milky" Way and Elaine L. (Baer) Way.
Joellen was a 1978 graduate of Camp Hill High School. She was a retired Director with Delta Dental Insurance Company. She was also a Dental Assistant who worked at several different dental offices during her career. Most recently she worked as a waitress at Jigsy's Brewpub & Restaurant in Enola, PA. Joellen was known as the life of the party. She had a great sense of humor and a large network of friends that she made from attending her daughter's soccer games and mingling with the fellow parents of the players. Joellen enjoyed being at the beach and traveling to Delaware and Myrtle Beach with her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 28 years, John Dennis "Denny" Bierbower, of Enola, PA, a daughter, Jackie Bierbower, of Harrisburg, PA, a brother, Scott Way and his wife Janet, of Honeoye Falls, NY, two sisters, Susan Hookway and her husband Doug, of Lititz, PA, and Ami Preston and her husband Steve, of Camp Hill, PA, two nephews, Christopher Hookway and his wife Amanda, of Lititz, PA, and Bryce Way, of Honeoye Falls, NY, three nieces, Dori (Hookway) Caligiure and her husband Chase, of Greensboro, NC, and Sydney Preston and Taylor Preston, both of Camp Hill, two great nieces, Josie and Ella, an Aunt, Susan "Nana" Starr, a step daughter, Holly Bierbower, of Dallas, TX, two step grandsons, Jaxson and Jionni, a step granddaughter, Kenzie, numerous cousins, and her loyal dog, Beethoven.
A celebration of Joellen's life will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Friday, March 1, 2024, in the Myers-Baker Funeral Home, 1903 Market St., Camp Hill, PA. All are invited to attend a visitation with Joellen's family, to be held in the funeral home on Friday, from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
