He was born September 1, 1970 in Nashville, Tennessee to Travis and Gloria Holland. Joey grew up in Smyrna, TN, where he attended Smyrna High School and graduated with the class of 1988. He pursued his career in the building products industry and sales.
He was preceded in death by his father, William "Travis" Holland. Also, his grandparents; Ruth Young, Joe and Jean Holland.
Joey is survived by his mother and stepfather, Gloria and Ray Shockney; siblings, Michelle Heil (Joe) and Todd Holland (Meghan); 2 nieces, 2 nephews and 1 great nephew.
He will be missed by his family and friends.
Visitation with the family will be this Saturday August 23, 2025 from 10:30 a.m. until the service at 12:00 p.m., at the Smyrna Church of Christ, 112 Division Street, Smyrna, TN, 37167 with burial immediately following in the Mapleview Cemetery in Smyrna, TN.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Smyrna Church of Christ's Food Pantry.
