Johann was a proud father, son, brother, nephew, uncle and friend. He is survived by his three beloved children: Bailee Hulstrom (Spencer), Easton Hulstrom, and Heaven Hulstrom, whom he loved more than anything in this world. Along with his Grandchildren: Luca and Faye Clifton.
He is also survived by his father, Elmer Hulstrom and stepmother Sharon Hart; his sisters, Annie Kelly (Kevin) and Lynn Hulstrom; and many extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Dunn.
A graduate of Sumner High School, Johann went on to earn his associate degree from Green River Community College. He had a deep love for baseball, a passion he carried throughout his life and often shared with those close to him. He loved umpiring games as he grew older. In his youth, he enjoyed time spent in Cub Scouts with his father, Elmer Hulstrom, building lasting memories. Music was another love of his-his life had its own soundtrack, and he appreciated the joy it brought him.
Johann was known for his quick wit and fun-loving spirit, especially in his prime. He had a way of making people laugh and feel at ease, and those who knew him will remember his humor and warmth.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025, at Sumner United Methodist Church to celebrate Johann's life and the legacy he leaves behind.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
