Johanna Halewicz Obituary

Johanna was born in Garfield, New Jersey, a daughter of the late Cornelius and Lena (Neiman) Mulder. She was educated in the New Jersey school system and spent her working career as a clerk in the furniture industry.
She was of the Christian faith and enjoyed playing cards and cherished the time she spent with her family and friends.
Preceding her in death in addition to her parents was her husband, Edwin K. Halewicz who passed away on July 1, 2024, her son Edwin N. Halewicz, and brothers, Daniel Mulder, Richard Mulder and Albert Mulder.
Surviving is her daughter in-law, Linda Halewicz of Pompton Lakes, New Jersey; grandchildren, Daniel Halewicz and his wife, Kelley of Pompton Lakes, Timothy Halewicz of Amenia, New York, and Benjamin Halewicz and his wife, Jennifer of Wayne, New Jersey; great grandchildren, Ian and his wife, Erin, Athena, Timothy, Jackson, and Jane.
Rev. Pastor Peter A. Richert will conduct a funeral service on Thursday October 16, 2025, at 11:30 A.M. in the Yanac Funeral & Cremation Service, Inc. 25 Sterling Road, Mount Pocono. Entombment will follow in Mountain View Mausoleum at Prospect Cemetery, 501 Prospect Street, East Stroudsburg.
A public visitation will be held on Thursday October 16, 2025, from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Yanac Funeral & Cremation Service, Inc. 35 Sterling Road, Mount Pocono, where online condolences can be shared at www.yanacfuneralhome.com
