John M. Arnold, Jr., age 63, of Gibsonia, on Saturday, June 29, 2024. Son of the late Dorothy (Grealish) and John M. Arnold, Sr.
Beloved husband for 30 years of Lisa (Thaner) Arnold; father of John "Devin" Arnold (Hannah), Luke Arnold, and Jacob Arnold (Alexis); grandfather of Phineas, Estella, Woodrow, and the late Elizabeth; brother of Dorothy Welsh (Howard) and Michael Arnold (Lynne). John is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
John was most passionate about the people in his life. He was well known for his hugs, his cowboy boots, and the many creative nicknames he gave those around him. Everyone who knew John, loved him. Their love was a reflection of his unwavering commitment to his relationships with family and friends. John was a loyal brother; a devoted father; and a sweet and caring grandfather to his grandchildren (who affectionately called him "Pop Goose"). John loved his wife Lisa more than anything in the world.
Working as a salesman his entire life, he always left an impact on those with whom he interacted. John loved to golf, listen to music, and cheer on the Fighting Irish. Above all, John was a man of faith and family. Johnny chose to live a simple, uncomplicated life - letting his "soulshine" in everything that he did. Love of God; Love of Country; Love of Man. He will be deeply missed.
Family will welcome friends on Tuesday from 3-5pm and 6-8pm at Schellhaas Funeral Home, Ltd., 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 10:30am at Sts. Martha & Mary Parish, St. Catherine of Sweden Church.
