He even remodeled a travel trailer into a cook shed for his nephew Bryce. John was a problem solver. He was the person anyone in his network of friends and family would call to fix any problem no matter the size. He and Janet loved to travel and were blessed to travel to several different countries during their marriage. He especially loved his trip to the Grand Canyon where he rode a mule to the floor of the canyon with his brother, Gene; however, when he got back to the top he said, "I will never do that again!"
