Brienne Raines (Bob & Betty´s granddaughter)
June 1, 2024
I loved how much my grandparents loved Ray and Jan. The laughs and stories the "van group" shared had you in stitches. I was baptized at the Carpenter´s House and can testify that Pastor Ray has truly left a lasting legacy in numerous lives, my life just one of many. My prayers go out to the family during this time of grief as they await their reunion in eternity

"Well done, good and faithful servant." That is what you wanted to hear, and I'm sure you have. We began attending church at Shepherd of the Hills in 1978. Our twins were 4 years old. Each Sunday, we sat behind Ray and Jane. During the "greeting", Ray always turned around and shook hands with our twins. That made them feel important. Following the service, Ray would always chat with them. That continued for many years. I was immensely blessed to have worked with him at The Carpenter's House.
