Born in Norristown, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Harmena (Dean) Hunsberger.
Jane was a Girl Scout Leader for many years. She loved flowers and was a member of the Garden Club for many years as well. Jane was a judge for the national garden club. Jane was a longtime member of New Ridge Fellowship Church and an active choir member. She also was part of a Craft Club with her girlfriends from school. Jane was a proud registered nurse throughout her career as well.
Surviving is her daughter Linda Sokolovich, wife of Lenny; daughter Pat Derrick, wife of Donald; daughter Carol Hamm, wife of Mitch; and daughter Nancy Stimson, wife of Tom; sister Nancy Kohr, wife of Al; 9 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by 1 granddaughter and 3 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at 11:00AM at New Ridge Fellowship Church (2211 Swamp Pike, Gilbertsville, PA 19525) with Pastor Ricky Ayala officiating. A reception will follow after the service. Burial will be held privately by the family.
