His Legacy John Wilbert Chapman, 54, passed away March 26, 2025. He was born on April 4, 1970, in Howell, Michigan to John Chapman and Bonnie (Martin) Chapman. John married the love of his life, Audrey Carlington, on December 28, 1995, in Redwood City, California. John spent his career as a carpenter and enjoyed the work he did. He was known as the "go to guy", and would drop any plans that he had if you needed his help. John was very laid back, easy going and happy. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and being with his family. John adored his grandchildren and loved taking them to the zoo and spending time with them. John was dearly loved by his family and friends and he will be greatly missed.
His Family John will be missed by his wife, Audrey Chapman; his son, Dylan Chapman; grandchildren, Mia Chapman, Carter Chapman, Connor Chapman; one grandchild on the way; brother-in-law, Rick Carlington; sisters-in-law, Joanie Lund, Amanda Dorton, August Moore; Aunt, Anne Gonia; Uncle Dave Chapman; and best friend and "brother", Mike Preetz. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Bonnie Chapman.
His Farewell John's family and friends will gather Wednesday, April 2, 2025, from 4:00PM-8:00PM, at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel. His Community Farewell Service will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at 11:00AM (10AM gathering), at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel.
