John Chronister Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by River Glenn Cremations & Funeral Services on Aug. 25, 2024.
John Wallace Chronister, age 52, passed away peacefully in his home on August 23, 2024 in Barling, Arkansas. Born May 27, 1972, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, he was the beloved son of Jerry Chronister and Nancy (Richardson) Hill. John married the love of his life, Brenna (Jolly) Chronister in Fort Smith, Arkansas, and they enjoyed 21 blissful years together in marriage. John was a hard worker, having held a longtime career as a boilermaker. He loved the outdoors, especially going to the lake and camping. John enjoyed spending time with his family, especially when vacationing to his favorite destination, Mexico. He will be remembered for being a wonderful father, husband, and all around good person, who was a happy person with a good sense of humor.
John leaves behind his loving wife, Brenna Chronister; one daughter, Kali Chronister; his mother, Nancy Hill; and two brothers, Steve and Jerry Chronister. John will be missed by a host of family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Jerry Chronister. Cremation is under the thoughtful direction of River Glenn Cremation and Funeral Services.

So sad to hear that you passed I remember running around with you and your brother Jerry back in the early 90's. A good hearted person gone to soon. Praying for you and your family. RIP John

Brenna and Kali, although I never met John personally, I know the kind, loving family man Brenna talked about. My love and prayers are with you and your family.
