Weston Chronister Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Wetzel Funeral Home - Hanover on Jan. 7, 2026.
Weston Lee Chronister, precious and deeply loved, passed away peacefully in the arms of angels on Friday, January 2, 2026, at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. He was just three days old. Weston was born on December 30, 2025, in Philadelphia, and was lovingly welcomed into the world by his parents, Michael Glen Chronister and Kaeana Rose Rebert of Abbottstown.

From his very first breath, Weston showed the heart of a fighter. Though his time on this earth was heartbreakingly brief, his life was overflowing with love, faith, and the prayers of countless family members, friends, and strangers who hoped for his future. In just three short days, Weston left an imprint that will last a lifetime. He was cherished beyond words, celebrated deeply, and loved fiercely. His tiny life served as a powerful reminder of how something so small can carry such immense meaning.

Weston is now held safely in heaven, one of God's most precious little angels, called home far too soon. As Scripture tells us in Matthew 19:14, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." Though his family aches in his absence, they find comfort in knowing that he knew only love, warmth, and devotion, and that he will never be forgotten.

In addition to his devoted parents, Weston is lovingly survived by his twin brother, Briggs Michael Chronister, whose life will forever be connected to his. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Roger and Sharon Rebert of Hanover; his paternal grandparents, Philip and Kande Chronister of Hellam; his aunts and uncles, Kiera Rebert, Colton Rebert, and Katie Chronister; his cousins, Kaya Hadley, Jayda Hadley, and Norah Hadley; along with many extended family members and friends who will carry Weston's memory in their hearts always.

There will be no public viewing or services. Weston's family will hold a private burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Hanover, Pennsylvania, where he will be laid to rest with love, peace, and the promise that he will forever be remembered.
