John Conner Obituary

John Conner, Jr. entered eternal rest on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at the age of 68. He was a native of Natchez, MS and a resident of Westwego, LA. John was a graduate of West Jefferson High School, and he served his country in the United States Army. He was a retired roofer working in the construction industry. Beloved husband of Bertha Conner. Loving father of John Conner III, Zakee (Quinnette) Conner, and Jessica Conner. Son of the late John Conner, Sr. and Bernice Conner. Brother of Julia (Charles) Dobbins, Donald Conner, Thomas Conner, Terry Conner, Tyrone Conner, and the late Sherry Ann Palmer, Audrey Lee Butler, Joseph Edwards, and Clabe Edwards. Brother in law of Majorie Edwards, also survived by 4 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. A Private Memorial Celebration will be held. Arrangements by Davis Mortuary Service 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA.
