DONOVAN, John T. "Jack" Of Brookline passed away on February 27, 2024. Jack is survived by his children Jack and Vicki Donovan of Belmont NH, Lynne Donovan of Hyannis, Stephen and Terri Donovan of Moorestown NJ and Bill and Kelly Donovan of Ellicott City, MD. Proud grandpa of Brett, Gabrielle, Kelsie, Erin, Michaela, Sean and Ella Donovan, Marissa and Joe SantaBarbara and his great grandchildren Olivia and Sophia SantaBarbara. Dear brother of Mary "Pat" Donovan. Beloved uncle of Deborah and John Larkin, Mary and Dylan Stevens, John and Tess Larkin and Thomas and Wendy Larkin. Adored great great uncle of his lunch buddy, Henry Stevens. Jack graduated from Brookline High School and Northeastern University with a Bachelor's degree in business. Longtime Employee of the Boston Herald American in distribution of Newspapers all over New England. He traveled those same roads watching his kids and grandkids compete in swimming, dance, baseball, soccer, wrestling, golf and hockey. He was a Starter at Putterham Meadows. He loved golfing and talking sports with his kids and grandkids. Was a Bruins Season ticket holder when Bobby Orr came to Boston. Visitation will be held in St. Lawrence Church, Chestnut Hill on Saturday March 2nd from 11:00AM – 12:00PM followed by a Funeral Mass at 12:00PM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Interment will follow in the Walnut Hills Cemetery.
