I had the distinct pleasure of working with John at Milford Middle School in Quakertown, Pa for nearly 9 years. He always had a smile and was willing to share his knowledge about officiating in either soccer, baseball or softball. He had a good humor about him, too. I often joked with him and made him laugh when I called him the "One Eyed Umpire!".. to which he laughed every time I said it. I also had the pleasure of working with his wife Helene. Both were dedicated teachers committed to giving their all to ensure success to each student. I learned of John's passing just a few days ago. He will be sorely missed by not just his family, but by all who knew him and worked with him. I will miss seeing him on the fields of PIAA soccer and softball events. He was truly a special breed! I offer my deepest condolences to his daughters and closest family and friends. With sympathy, Michael C. Boyd, Band Director, Milford Middle School 1988-1997

I would like to send my deepest sympathy to his family and friends. Although I will not be able to attend his viewing or service my thoughts and prayers are with you. Larry or "Pete" as he was known at Penn-Bernville was a great friend, classmate and an all around great guy. We hadn't seen each other often except for the Penn-Bernville Alumni Banquets and it was always a pleasure to be in his company. Rest in Peace John Larry Endy.
