JOHN R. FUGITT
John R. Fugitt, 78, of Uniontown, Ohio, passed away on January 14, 2025. He was born in Orrville, Ohio on October 31, 1946, one of four children to the late Richard Fugitt and Helen Walk.
John lives on in the hearts of the loving family he leaves behind; his wife of 53 years, Sandie Fugitt; daughter, Tiffany Infantino; son, Jason (Allison) Fugitt; grandchildren, Taylor Sherwood, Anthony, Michael, and Natalie Infantino, Henley and Quinn Fugitt; sisters, Brenda Fugitt, Judy (Gary) Landry; and brother, Robert (Alicia) Fugitt.
John proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He retired from Stark County Department of Job and Family Services, Child Support Division. A graduate of Orrville High School and the Ohio College of Applied Science, he enjoyed woodworking, nostalgic TV, and loved music. A loving husband, father and grandfather, John valued his family and friends and the memories of time shared together.
The family will receive guests on Sunday, January 19, 2025, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., at Hecker-Patron Funeral Home, 13151 Cleveland Avenue, NW, Uniontown. Interment will take place at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens at the convenience of the family.
