I´ve known John Henry most of my life but the funniest memory was at Vacation Bible school at Central Mennonite Church. We were in 8th grade, our class was up in the balcony where there was a door to a crawlspace up there. One of our classmates went in the crawlspace during recess. Our teacher asked John Henry to go in after the boy who had refused to come out. John went in there but his leg went off of a beam and through the sheetrock ceiling below. We all ran downstairs to see, when we got there the preacher, Jesse Yoder was standing there, arms crossed looking up!
