John "Muffy" Thomas Giordano Jr. of Lakewood, NJ entered eternal rest on Wednesday, October 2, 2024. John spent his early years growing up in Belleville, NJ and attended Essex Catholic High School. He was the proud business owner of J & G Produce in Newark, NJ. John then went on to work in the New York, New Jersey, and Philadelphia produce markets. He was a one-of-a-kind man who loved his family more than anything. John's true happiness was his grandchildren, especially watching his grandson develop into the hockey player he is today - #29. He enjoyed traveling to the Caribbean, cooking "nothing from a can", made the best homemade pizza, gardening, fishing and was a diehard New York Rangers fan. John also enjoyed spending time and traveling with his companion, Dottie.
John is predeceased by his loving parents, John and Gloria Giordano; as well as his loving brother, Robert Giordano and sister, Joy Immerso. He is survived by his two daughters, Johna Marotti and husband, Rocco, and Jessica Giordano; two grandchildren, John Thomas Marotti and Emma Sofia Marotti; sister, Barbara Picinich and husband, John; nephews, Michael Picinich and wife, Amanda and Matthew Picinich; and a great niece, Rue Picinich.
John was a special man who had a way with words and will be remembered by all his family and friends, especially his two daughters who love and will miss him dearly.
