John Quintin Glaser, Jr., "Quint," passed away peacefully on October 2, 2025, surrounded by love as his devoted goddaughter, Ruthie, was at his side.

A native of Louisville, Kentucky, Quint's journey began at St. Xavier High School, from which he graduated with the Class of 1968. He pursued higher education at Western Kentucky University and later Bellarmine College (1968–1970) before answering a deeper calling to serve. He spent a transformative year volunteering in Israel, an experience that marked the beginning of his lifelong commitment to education, compassion, and service.

Upon returning to the United States, Quint earned his Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Special Education, focusing on supporting students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Driven by empathy and purpose, he moved to Atlanta, where he dedicated decades to teaching children with diverse learning needs. Quint helped students not just survive but thrive. With patience, insight, and unwavering dedication, he helped them gain knowledge, develop life skills, and achieve greater independence through building their self-confidence. He retired in 1996 after a career marked by empathy and impact.

In retirement, Quint embraced new horizons, living for a time in the Netherlands before returning to the U.S. in the early 2000s to lovingly care for his aging parents, a final act of devotion that reflected his deep sense of family.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, John Quintin Glaser, Sr., and Clarice Marie Kirk Glaser. He also mourned the recent passing of his cherished companion, "Boy," his loyal cat of 18 years, whose quiet presence brought him comfort and joy. The bond they shared was a touching reflection of Quint's gentle and nurturing spirit.

Remembered for his sharp intellect, quiet kindness, and steadfast integrity, Quint leaves behind a legacy of service and love. "A brilliant mind has gone to rest."
