Samuel Weber Obituary

Born on April 29, 1982, in Louisville, Sam was one of two sons to Barbara Ann Pohl Weber and the late Thomas Barry Weber. He graduated from St. Xavier High School in the Class of 2000 and went on to earn his bachelor's degree in journalism from Indiana University Southeast.
Sam founded and owned Third Iris Media, a photography company specializing in weddings and special events. He was also a contract editor for various publications.
Sam is survived by his mother, Barbara, and his brother Maxwell (Ali). He will also be remembered and loved by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, November 7, 2025, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 3345 Lexington Road, with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Ratterman Funeral Home, 3711 Lexington Road, St. Matthews.
Memorial gifts may be made in Sam's honor to the Catholic Education Foundation.

Barb, Words cannot express the deep sorrow I feel for your loss. As you face what lies ahead, I pray you are able to reach out to those who deeply understand your pain. May you and Max and all those who loved Sam experience moments when you feel the peace of God which transcends all understanding. Although I had not seen Sam in many years, I experienced his strong light. May you remember it always and feel it here on earth.
