Mr. Herbstreit was my teacher years ago. Mostly what I remember about him was his saying, " what are they feeding you in the lunchroom, negative ions???"
He was a good teacher, but I was not a good student (I blame the lunchroom staff)!
Rest in peace Mr. H

I had the pleasure of being both a student of "Mr Herbstreit" early on in high school, as well as a classmate of his daughter, Debbie, as part of the class of 1980. My family knew him also from the years we attended church together at Good Shepherd. Our heartfelt condolences to his family. He will be well remembered.
