John worked as a welder at ShoBan Steel for many years. He was a ShoBan firefighter and also worked for Wada Farms where he drove tractor for years.

His hobbies included farming, ranching, fishing, hunting and rodeos. He took great care of his yard and was a master green thumb and gardener.

Dad lived a full and enjoyable life. He was a good father, grandpa, great grandpa and favorite uncle. He loved family time and watching his family grow. He also loved animals. Dad enjoyed our family trips up to the foothills or mountains and gathering wood.
