John Jones Obituary
John William Jones, 65, of Gastonia, passed away at home on December 1, 2024. He was born May 8, 1959, in Mecklenburg County, to the late Ernest Henry Jones and Nola Kyles Jones Sarvis.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
John was a member at Clover Liberty Pentecostal Church. He was a caring and kindhearted man not only to his wife, Tammy but to everyone who knew him. He enjoyed camping, gardening, going to old car shows, and spending time with his family. He was a graduate of North Gaston High School and Gaston College. John was a welder by trade.
Family members left to cherish his memories include his wife, Tammy Crisp Jones; sons, Joey Davis (Miranda), Justin Croft; brother, Charles Jones (Rita); grandchildren, Katie Davis, Jaden Croft; beloved fur son, Roscoe; along with one niece, several nephews and cousins who loved him dearly.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm at Clover Liberty Pentecostal Church on Wednesday, December 4, 2024.
John’s Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 pm with Pastor Michael Coe officiating.
Interment will follow at Westview Gardens Cemetery
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory of John to Clover Liberty Pentecostal Church, Building Fund, 1045 N Main St., Clover, SC 29710.
