John David Killigrew, 56, of Elmira Heights, New York, formerly of Corning, New York, was born on January 22,1958, and died on September 30, 2014, after a long illness.
He was a 1976 graduate of Corning Painted Post East High School and graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology in 1981.
John is the son of Joyce Crants Killigrew of Corning and was preceded in death by his father, Daniel L. Killigrew, Jr. in 2004 and his brother, Paul in 2005.
He is survived by his sister, Kathleen (Guy) Grantier of Danville, Virginia and his brother, Daniel (Jo) Killigrew of Fairfax, Virginia; as well as, nieces, Erin and Chelsea and nephews Kyle, Max and Daniel.
Per his mother, Joyce's request, John will be celebrated with her. The family will have a private graveside service at St. Mary's Cemetery. We invite family and friends to a Celebration of Life for Joyce and John at The Center, 400 Park Ave., Corning on Saturday, June 24, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
