John Kisner Obituary

Mr. John William "Bill" Kisner, 68, passed away Friday, February 28, 2003, in Greenville, MS, at his daughters residence, he was formerly of Bruce, MS. Mr. Kisner was born August 20, 1934 to Jan Kisner and Lois Williams Kisner in Water Valley, MS. He had retired from Greenville Mills in 1987, where he was a Lab Technician. He was a member and Deacon of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

Services will be held at 2 PM Sunday, 03-02-2003, at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Bruce, MS., with the Rev. L.H. McCullough and the Rev. Rick Griffin officiating. Burial will be in the Bruce Cemetery in Bruce, MS. Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include four daughters; Cynthia Ann Floyd and husband Mike of Leland, MS., Deborah Lynn Davis and husband Darry of Shaw, MS., Rebecca Carol Moak and husband Dwayne of Flora, MS., Cheryl Gay Cornelius of Greenville, MS. One son; John Hollis Kisner and wife Christy of Tupelo, MS. 11 grandchildren; Trudy Ann Whitfield, Nicholas Bradford Simmons, William Tyler Floyd, Justin Burt Davis, Lauren Michelle Davis, Kelly Peyton Davis, William Hoyt Moak, Alison Rebecca Moak, C.L. Cornelius Jr., Joshua Seth Cornelius, and Alyssa Breanna Whitfield. One great-grandchild; Kaitlyn Breanna Whitfield, and one brother; James Morgan Kisner and wife Gloria of Gallatin, TN.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Kisner, Gary Paul Adams, Tommy Cain, Randy Cain, Billy Gene Goodwin, Lanny Hillhouse, Johnny Norwood, Junior Hillhouse, Terry Dean Cain, Maurice Adams.

Visitations will be at the funeral home from 5 to 8 PM Saturday, 03-01-2003.
