John Krahe Obituary

John was a graduate of Cathedral Prep High School and Elon University. He loved spending time with family and friends, playing and watching sports, golfing, playing cards, and being outdoors.
John was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Bert Zurn.
John is survived by his wife, Cathy Zurn Krahe and their four children: Colby, Courtney, Julianne and Jared Krahe, sister, Dee Dee Juliano, her husband Vinnie and their children, Andrew (Olivia) Juliano and Jenna Juliano. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Carol McCall Zurn, sister-in-law, Denise Zurn, brother-in-law, Timothy (Laurie) Zurn and their 3 children, and his brother-in-law, Gary (Amber) Zurn and their 3 children.
Friends and family may call for visitation hours on Sunday, July 16, 2023 1:00pm - 6:00pm at the Klocker Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 2502 Sassafras Street. Friends and family are also invited to attend a Funeral Mass the following morning, Monday, July 17, 2023 at Saint Jude the Apostle Church, 2801 West 6th Street at 11:00 am. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice in John's name.

John was one of the nicest and most genuine people I have ever known. He was one of the older kids in the neighborhood who many of the younger kids looked up to as he always was positive. God bless, sending positive thoughts and prayers to all of his family.
