I met John while we were both students at Iona College. Throughout our college careers, we would often meet and share a laugh over either a course we were taking or a particular instructor. He had a great sense of humor and a laugh that can never be duplicated. I shall miss you and offer my prayers for having known you....until we meet again, stay safe.

Will always remember John for his free spirit and infectious laugh... I first met John at school at St Francis Xavier in the Bronx... we attended Iona College together and shared many good memories... Will continue to keep John in our memories and our prayers... Our deepest condolences to Anne Marie and all the family.

John and I met as freshmen at Iona College in 1965. We became friends instantly, having come from similar backgrounds and very close families. We graduated together in 1969 and kept in contact with each other socially and while serving in the same reserve battalion until 1975.
During those army years we each got married, serving as groomsmen for one another and keeping in close contact.
As life could have it we slowly lost contact over the last 25 years with us moving to Florida and not being around much and me being the worst at staying in touch with people. We hooked up in 2019 for our 50th college reunion and spoke occasionally about getting together but could never coordinate. Again mostly my fault.
We had many great times in college and beyond, from dinners with his family in the Bronx to going out clubbing or spending weekends at his home in Blue Point I´ll miss him. Rest in Peace John
