He was born May 26, 1949 to parents, Henry Butts McNair and Catherine Mary Cunningham McNair; John lifelong resident of Pensacola and attended the Little Flower Catholic Church.
John was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Catherine McNair.
He is survived by his daughter, Katherene McNair; brother, Henry Butts McNair II; sister, Patricia Ann Lambert; great grandchildren, Lilliana Clemmons; Rosalynn, Oaklynn and Frankie Hale-Meers, grandchildren, Angel Meers; Katherene Meers, Grace Meers, James Meers and Jonathan Meers.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on April 12, 2024 at Holy Cross Cemetery.
