John Meyer Obituary

John was born on October 20, 1960 in Yonkers, NY to Frederick and Maybelle (McKever) Meyer. He graduated from Carmel High School in the class of 1978.
He currently worked as an Auto Body Tech at Wes Auto Body and before that, he worked at Meyer Brothers Collision for 10 years. John was a life member of the Carmel Fire Department.
John is survived by his siblings, Pamela Jones, Deborah Eilersten, Christine Meyer and Alice Meyer. He is survived by 13 dearly loved nieces and nephews and 11 great nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his beloved parents, Frederick and Maybelle Meyer and his brother, Frederick Meyer who passed away in 2022.
He will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 20, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Cargain Funeral Home, 10 Fowler Avenue, Carmel, NY.
A Mass of Christian Rite to honor John's life will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at St. James the Apostle Church, 14 Gleneida Avenue, Carmel, NY.
Private cremation to follow.
