John M. Militello, 76, of Clifton, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home Menlo Park in Edison. Born and raised in Passaic, John moved to Clifton where he lived for most of his life. Before retirement, he was employed as a roofer and carpenter with Wood Fashions of Clifton. John was a member of the Clifton Moose Lodge and was a United States Air Force veteran who had been stationed in Turkey during his tour. John enjoyed bowling and golfing.
John was predeceased by his parents, John and Helen (nee Kovacs) Militello; and his two brothers, Mark and Gary Militello.
Survivors include: three children, Renee Militello and her husband, Ryan Wagner, John Militello and his wife, Christina and Jeff Militello and his wife, Jennifer; one grandson, John Militello; and two sisters, Kathleen Militello and Janet Miller and her husband, John.
A Memorial Mass will be held 10:00 am Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at St. Paul R.C. Church, 124 Union Avenue, Clifton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions maybe made to Wounded Warriors Project, PO Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516 or St. Paul R.C. Church, 124 Union Avenue, Clifton, NJ 07011.
