John was born in Norwalk, CT on May 31, 1976 to the late John L. Moehring, and Marjorie (Griffin) Moehring. He was a graduate of St. Aloysius School in New Canaan and Fairfield College Preparatory School in Fairfield, CT.
John graduated summa cum laude from Fordham University in the Bronx, New York, with a Bachelor of Arts in History in 1998, and graduated cum laude from Pace University Law School (now known as the Elisabeth Haub School of Law) in White Plains, New York in 2003. He was admitted to practice law in Connecticut and New York.
John was a partner at Kroll, McNamara, Evans & Delehanty, LLP of West Hartford, CT. His accomplished law practice encompassed all areas of commercial real estate. He started with the firm in 2006. John's friendship was appreciated by his colleagues, former colleagues and clients from near and far.
During his free time John could be found cheering for the Yankees, dining out at his favorite restaurants, and rooting on his children at the local soccer fields.
John is survived by: mother Marjorie Moehring, wife Barbara, daughter Charlotte 11, and son Brendan 7. In addition, John has loving and supportive cousins and extended family in Newtown, Danbury, and Fairfield.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 8 at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church, Southbury. The family will receive visitors prior to Mass from 9:00 - 11:00 AM at Carpino Funeral Home in Southbury. Burial will be private at St. John's Cemetery in Norwalk, CT.
