John R. Morin, 80, husband of the late Pamela R. (Vanderlick) Morin, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2025, at Morningside House of Collegeville.

Born in Holyoke, Massachusetts, John was the son of the late Joseph and Lillian (Griffin) Morin. He proudly served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Intrepid during the Vietnam War. His service remained close to his heart throughout his life, and he was rarely without his Navy cap-a familiar and comforting sight that reflected his pride, his memories, and the bond he shared with those who served alongside him. Later, John moved his family to Pennsylvania, where he put down roots, built a life filled with warmth and friendship, and formed deep, lifelong bonds that became an extension of his family.

John shared a deep and loving marriage with his wife, Pamela. They treasured time spent traveling, particularly on cruises, ballroom dancing, and creating a life centered on family and togetherness. Later in life, John found happiness in going to the gym and playing golf, pursuits that brought him joy and purpose. Above all, John was devoted to his family. For more than a decade, he lovingly cared for his wife during her illness, demonstrating unwavering devotion, patience, and compassion. He was a dedicated husband, a loving father, and a proud grandfather and great-grandfather, whose quiet strength and steady presence will be deeply missed.

Surviving is his daughter Michelle Fox, wife of John; daughter Heather Morin, wife of Pete; sister Phyllis Morin; brother Michael Morin; grandchildren Sean Fox, husband of Kristen, Samantha Fox, Daniel Fox, and Caitlyn Fox; great grandchildren Connor Fox and Claire Fox. He is predeceased by his brother Ronnie Morin and his sister-in-law Judy Morin.

A funeral mass will be held on Monday, December 29, 2025 at 11:00AM at St. Teresa of Calcutta Church (256 Swamp Pike, Schwenksville, PA 19473) with Fr. Brandt officiating. Burial will be held privately by the family at a later date. A viewing will also be held on Monday, December 29, 2025, from 9:30AM-10:45AM at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Teresa of Calcutta Church and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in John's name.
