John F. Muller, of
North Port, Florida, formerly of Bucks County, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2025, with his wife by his side. He was 81.
John is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Linda Muller.
Born in Philadelphia to Nicholas and Agnes Muller, John graduated from Pennsbury High School. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he served honorably from 1965 to 1969. John fondly remembered his time serving in the 6922nd Security Wing, stationed first at Karamürsel, Turkey, and later in the Philippines. During his service, John worked as a Morse code intercept operator, often referred to as a ditty bopper, intercepting and analyzing foreign communications. While much of his work remained highly classified, John was well known for tapping out Morse code to friends and family while telling stories.
Following his military service, John built a successful career in the industrial gas industry, rising from a cylinder truck driver to upper management through his dedication and hard work.
John enjoyed fishing, golfing, and playing cards with friends, but his greatest joy came from traveling with his family. After purchasing their first camper and RV in the late-1970s, John proudly spent summers crisscrossing America, eventually visiting all 50 states. This passion for travel continued into retirement, as he and Linda explored 80 countries together and created countless cherished memories. Above all else, nothing compared to John s love for spending time with his grandchildren attending countless plays, recitals, and sporting events.
In addition to his wife, John is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Jurney, and her husband, Scott; his son, Jonathan Muller, and his wife, Maryellyn; and his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Jurney, and James Muller. He will be fondly remembered by countless friends and extended family members who will miss his warm smile, quick jokes, and often delightfully circuitous stories.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Visitation on Monday, January 19, 2026, at The Olde Church of Saint Andrew, 135 S. Sycamore Street,
Newtown, PA 18940, from 10:00 a.m. until the Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m., which all are welcome to attend.
