John E. Norco Sr.

John E. Norco, Sr., 73, of Marie Avenue, died Sunday, May 19, 2024, at his residence in Shenango Township. He was born in New Castle, on August 8, 1950, the son of the late Michael and Eleanor Mae (Richman) Norco. Mr. Norco married Tammy Sue (Reno) Norco on September 12, 1987; she survives in New Castle. Mr. Norco worked as a forklift driver for Penntex and US Cann, retiring after 20 years. He enjoyed fishing and yardwork, and above all, loved playing with his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by six children, John E. Norco, Jr., and his wife JoAnn of New Castle, Rick J. Norco and his wife Wendy of Spanish Fort, AL, Michael L. Norco and his wife Barbara of New Castle, Amy L. Leasure and her husband Leonard of Edinburg, PA, Kiley R. Norco of Beaver Falls, and Cody R. Norco and his wife Dawn of New Castle, two brothers, Richard Norco and James Norco, one sister, Shirley Haney, several grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Michael Norco, Jr., and Joseph Norco.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 24, 2024, from 4 PM to 6 PM at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue. Funeral services will be celebrated Friday, May 24, 2024, at 6:00 PM, at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Pastor Sean Brubaker, from Calvin Presbyterian Church, will officiate.
