John Warren Parks passed from this life on September 8, 2023, with family by his side at the age of 63. His care has been entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Cushing, Oklahoma.
John was born on October 16, 1959, to Sydney Parks and Coyla (Noe) Parks in Anaheim, California. He grew up in California then moved to Drumright, Oklahoma at a young age. In 1977, he graduated from Drumright High School. After school, John immediately joined the United States Army. He served his country for 16 years before being honorably discharged. John became a car salesman and finance manager in automotive sales at numerous car dealerships. He spent the last 10 years at Regal Car Sales in Stillwater. He also was a 3rd degree Mason.
In Germany, John married his sweetheart Christel Noll on December 24, 1982. Together they spent 41 loving years together.
In his free time, John loved spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren. He would watch football games and attend many concerts with friends and family.
John was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He will be missed.
John is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Sydney Lee Parks.
He is survived by his wife Christel; Son Michael Davis and wife Tessa, son Bobby Davis and wife Cheyenne, daughter Christina Evans and husband Jay; Grandchildren Aidan Evans, Zachary Davis, Kadyn Davis, Makenzie Davis and Charlotte Davis.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 14, 2023, at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church located on 214 N. Steele Ave, Cushing, OK 74023.
