It is with a heavy heart that we announce the death of John (Johnny) Pruitt, much loved husband, son, brother, and uncle.
A lifelong resident of Cumming, Georgia, Johnny was born on June 3, 1966, to John Hugh and Geraldine Pruitt. He was a proud Baptist, member of Cumming Second Baptist Church, and an accomplished lifelong electrician. In his free time Johnny loved fishing, spending time helping his church, and would help park cars for the county fair.
Johnny is remembered for his love of helping people, and the love he shared with his wife, Lisa “Peace” Pruitt, whom he would often remind that he “loved anyway, all the time”.
Johnny is preceded in death by his father, John Hugh Pruitt; grandparents, John and Eloise Pruitt and Clarence and Mary Brown.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lisa Pruitt; mother, Geraldine Pruitt; brother, Jerry and Chris Pruitt; nephews and nieces, Josh Pruitt and Meghana Pedapalli, Caiti and Spencer Maddox, David and Jeane Croft, Heather and Tim Kohler, Heidi and David Marsh; stepsons, Austin and Avery Gaddis; mother and father-in-law, Brenda and Boe Collett; sister and brother in law, Kristi and Thomas Jennings; along with a host of grand nieces and nephews.
The family of Johnny Pruitt will be accepting visitors on Tuesday, July 8th, 2025, from 2:00 Pm to 9:00 Pm, and once again Wednesday, July 9th, 2025, from noon until the time of service. Funeral services for Mr. Pruitt will be held at Ingram Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 9th, 2025, at 3:00 Pm, with Rev. Jerry Pruitt and Rev. Scott Sorrells officiating.
