John Donald "Jack" Reiman

John Donald "Jack" Reiman, of Howell, MI and native of Evart, MI, passed away in the early morning hours of Tuesday, June 4, 2024. He was 93 years old.
He was born on December 3, 1930, in Ann Arbor, Michigan. On August 5, 1949, he married his high school sweetheart, Lois Janet Hunter, and they were married for 71 years. Lois Janet Reiman passed away on November 20, 2020, at the age of 90. Jack owned and operated Tel-X Tool and Die Company in Farmington, Michigan. He was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1978, which led to his retirement in 1980.
Jack continued to rely on his strong faith and became involved in community church activities, even acting as an impromptu pastor at Woodland Village in Brighton, guiding those in search of spiritual guidance. In his retirement, Jack built a home in Sears, Michigan, along the Muskegon River, which he lived in with Lois for 40-plus years. Showcasing the same hard work and determination that defined his life.
He is survived by his daughter, Tina (Ed) Esker; daughter in-law, Maryanne Reiman; also survived by his eight grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, close friends and extended family members.
Jack is preceded in death by his loving wife, Lois Reiman; his daughter, Cathleen (Robert) Schurman; his son, Thomas Reiman, and his grandson, Andrew Reiman.
Memorial visitation will take place on Sunday, June 9, 2024 from 2:00PM - 6:00PM at Lynch & Sons, 600 E. Main St., Brighton, MI 48116.
A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00PM on Monday, June 10, 2024 at Lynch & Sons, 600 E. Main St., Brighton, MI 48116. Friends and family may gather at the Funeral Home beginning at 11:00AM.
