John David Sacotte

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of John David Sacotte, age 58, of Moore, Oklahoma, who left this world on March 20, 2025. Born on April 3, 1966, in Oklahoma City, John was the beloved son of John Charles Sacotte and Leilani Sue Gensman (Hawkins).
John lived a life full of passion and joy. He served proudly in the Army, where he cultivated a deep sense of duty and camaraderie that stayed with him throughout his life. His love for the outdoors was evident in his fondness for fishing and his commitment to caring for his yard, where many cherished memories were created. A fervent sports enthusiast, John had an infectious enthusiasm for all kinds of athletics. For 20 years, he channeled his determination and dedication into his work as a real estate agent, helping others find their dream homes and build their futures.
John leaves behind his cherished spouse, Timi Sacotte, and his loving daughter, Lauren Fluty, who shares her life with her husband, Chase. He was also a proud grandfather to his grandson, Easton Sacotte. John's legacy will continue through them, as his spirit lives on in the stories they will tell and the values he imparted.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his beloved grandparents, Jan and Harington Hawkins.
In reflection of John's wonderful life, funeral services will be held at a later date, providing family and friends an opportunity to gather, share memories, and celebrate a remarkable man. The family invites everyone who knew John to join them in commemorating his life and the indelible mark he made on all who encountered him.
