In loving memory of John "Jack" R. Ulm, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, was born in Cincinnati, OH on May 16, 1950. He peacefully passed away on Friday, June 6, 2025, at the age of 75. Jack was a loving presence in the lives of all who knew him. He was the cherished son of the late John William and Mary Jane Ulm, and his gentle spirit and quick wit brought joy to countless hearts.
Jack was a devoted husband to Barbara Ulm for 52 wonderful years. Together, they created a warm and nurturing home filled with love for their children, Sandy, Sherry, Jack, and Joe Ulm. He was not only a loving father but also a dear brother to Nancy (Chris) Meier and a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews. His family meant everything to him, and his memory will live on through the countless stories, jokes, and special moments shared together.
A man of deep faith, Jack was a long-standing parishioner at St. Ann Church, where he found solace and strength. Throughout his life, he cherished his Catholic faith, drawing comfort from it in both joyful and challenging times. He remained a beacon of light, leaving indelible marks of love and laughter wherever he went. In his leisure time, Jack enjoyed playing golf at Hartwell Golf Course and spent many happy hours bowling, both of which were sources of joy and companionship. His zest for life and the connections he cultivated will forever hold a special place in the hearts of his family and friends.
In honor of Jack's remarkable life, a visitation will take place at St. Ann Church, 2900 W Galbraith Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45239. Friends and family will gather on Friday, June 13, 2025 from 10:00 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Jack's legacy of love and kindness will be celebrated as those who knew him come together to reminisce and reflect on his beautiful life.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to JDRF, 200 Vesey St., 78th Floor, New York, NY 10281 or St. Ann Parish at 2900 W Galbraith Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45239. Jack will be profoundly missed, but his legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering faith will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know him. Let us come together to celebrate his life and cherish the memories that will forever remain in our hearts.
