A memorial service for John Milton Vanya, Jr., 60, of Livingston, Texas will be held Monday, February 12, 2024 at 2:00 p.m., at Schwab City Baptist Church in Livingston, Texas with Bro. David Jones officiating.
John was born July 21, 1963 in Ft. Gordon, Georgia and passed away February 7, 2024 in Livingston, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Milton Vanya, Sr. and Linda Nickette (Kennerly) Vanya; sisters, Teresa Hendrix and Tina Williamson; and grandparents.
He is survived by his daughters, Christina Bartosh and husband Ryan of Cleveland, Texas and Victoria Vanya of Livingston, Texas; brother, David Vanya and girlfriend Tanya McAdams of Livingston, Texas; sister, Dana Vanya of Corrigan, Texas; grandsons, Brayden Bartosh, Brentlee Bartosh, and Braxton Bartosh; special cousin, Jeff Parkman; and special nephew, Allen Vanya; as well as numerous other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
John worked his whole life drilling and repairing water wells with his dad and brother. His past time was spent on the river fishing, in the woods hunting or on his Harley viewing the country. John was faithful to his Christian belief and apart of many different organizations. His daughters and grandsons were his prize possession and he enjoyed spending anytime he could with them.
