John E. VISINTAINER

John entered his final resting place on March 6, 2023. He was 1 of 8 children born to Benjamin "Benny" and Margaret "Maggie" Visintainer of Spokane Valley. He attended Saint Pascal's Parish and then West Valley High School. He worked for Inland Empire Paper and later went on to construction, at Iron Workers Local 14. He enjoyed working on cars, collecting and restoring antiques, fishing, horses, and the outdoors.  John has joined his parents, his brother, Ralph, and his sister, Josie, among many friends and family. John was a son, a dad, an uncle, and a cousin to many. He is survived by his brothers and sisters; Ben (Joan), Dolores, Jerry (Sylvia), Mike, and Sally, as well as his 3 children; Christina (Walter), Jason (Caroline), and Jennifer (Tom). John has 3 grandchildren: Josh (Kim), AJ (Danielle), Michaela, and 1 great-grandson; Zander.  The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Otis Orchards, WA, on Wednesday, March 15 at 11:00 a.m., followed by the Graveside Committal at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery 17825 E. Trent Ave., Spokane Valley, WA. Beginning at 1:00 p.m. a light, luncheon reception will take place at Hennessey Valley Funeral Home 1315 N. Pines Rd., Spokane Valley, WA. The family requests donations are made to St. Joseph Catholic Church 4521 N. Arden Rd., Otis Orchards, WA 99027. "I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus" 2 John 1:8.
