John F. Zoller, Jr., 90, of Louisville, entered Eternal Life on Saturday, November 9, 2024.
John was born in Louisville to the late John, Sr. and Mary Alice Zoller. He was a veteran of the United States Army and worked as a set up man for General Electric. John was a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church and was a Fourth Degree in the Knights of Columbus. Everyone enjoyed eating John's smoked meats, especially his ribs, but his favorite passion was his model trains. He was an avid model train collector and spent time meticulously building towns and buildings for his train sets.
He is preceded in death by the love of his life, Janet Baker Zoller; and parents.
Carrying on John's legacy are his niece, Paula Adams Abell (Richard "Dicky"); nephews, Dan Adams, Dave Adams, and Mike Adams (Molly); and great-nieces and nephews, Clinton Adams, Meghan Adams, Stephen Abell (Jessica), Chris Abell, Jamie Adams, Kevin Adams (Lauren), Nick Adams, and Katie Adams Marshall (Nathan).
Visitation will be from 3-7PM on Thursday, November 14 at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home, 3800 Bardstown Road. Funeral Mass will be at 10AM on Friday, November 15 at St. Raphael the Archangel, 2141 Lancashire Avenue, with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
