Johnny Lee Bragg Sr., age 76, peacefully departed from this world on October 9, 2025, at his home in Eastland, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on June 1, 1949, in Chaves, NM, Johnny was a beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose warmth and kindness left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
Johnny was the son of Johnny F. and Winnie R. (Howell) Bragg and was united in marriage to Glenda (Hayes) Bragg until her passing in 2010. A devoted member of the Pentecostal faith, Johnny found solace in his faith and spent countless hours reading his Bible. He was an active participant at the River of Life Church in Eastland, where he forged many cherished friendships and shared his unwavering spirit with others.
Johnny is survived by his loving children: son, Johnny L. Bragg Jr. and wife Amanda of Eastland; daughters, Sherry Bragg of Eastland and Christina Boykin and husband Jimmy of Oklahoma. He also leaves behind three precious grandchildren, Aaron O'Neill, Seth Bragg, and Savanna Bragg, along with four dear great-grandchildren who filled his heart with immense joy.
He was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Glenda Bragg, and his parents, Johnny F. Bragg and Winnie R. Bragg.
A Graveside Service will be held in his honor on Friday, October 10, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Evergreen Cemetery in Ranger, TX. Loved ones and friends are invited to gather and celebrate Johnny's life and the love he shared during his time with us.
Services are entrusted to Edwards Funeral Home - Eastland, as they guide us in honoring the memory of a truly wonderful man. His legacy of love will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know him.
